International Symposium on Ostracoda
The international Symposia on Ostracoda are interdisciplinary, international meeting of ostracode researchers, sponsored by the International Research Group on Ostracoda.
They have been held at irregular intervals of two, three and four years since 1963. Each meeting is convened by the invitation of a different organizer and held in a different location. Their purpose is to provide a common forum for all ostracode researchers, regardless of scientific discipline or topic of investigation.
Business meetings and elections are conducted during the Symposia. Minutes of those meetings are published in Cypris (and here on the website).
The proceedings volumes for these meetings have been published by different publishers and do not form a series.
Group photos and other photos of participants have been taken at most of the symposia.
