The 10th International Symposium on Ostracoda was organized in Aberystwyth, Wales, UK, in 1988 by Robin Whatley and his team. The proceedings were published as „Ostracoda and Global Events“ on behalf of the British Micropalaeontological Society by Chapman and Hall (London-New York-Tokyo-Melbourne-Madras), 621 pp. (Robin Whatley and Caroline Maybury, eds.) in 1990.
