Deutschsprachiges Ostracodologen-Treffen / German speaking Ostracodologists‘ Meetings
The German speaking ostracodologists have been meeting relatively regularly since 1988 mainly to give students the opportunity to present their studies and strengthen the network in a friendly atmosphere. In 2012, this meeting was carried out as the International German Ostracodologists‘ Meeting (IGOM) with 64 participants at the occasion of Eugen Kempf’s 80th birthday. One year later, in 2013, this gathering celebrated Burkhard Scharf’s and Dietmar Keyser’s 70th birthday. More information and fotos are available for the years 1992, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Ever since the pandemic hit, these meetings have not been continued.
